Hi, can't help but be a bit melancholy. It's that time of the year again. The days grow shorter, summer winds down and thoughts of back to the classroom are on everyone's mind. And of course, thinking of Paula.
Just viewed the Students Artwork for the first time. Beautiful work, sure to bring a smile. (Click on Peace then Student Artwork.) It is sooo Paula.
To all the students, have a safe and productive school year.
Thoughts and prayers, hugs and kisses go out to all.

What a wonderful site.Great job. I didn't know Paula at all but followed her story and soon realized what a great person the world lost not alone a loving Mom. The power of a loving family will help you all.I just today read her book, Miss Gallant's Favourite Season at school and ordered 3 to have as gifts.God Bless you all.

It is so wonderful to hear that justice is finally being served. I want to state how much love and admiration I feel for Paula's family. I knew Paula and just wanted to say how wonderful of a person she really was. She in no way deserved what happened to her and I am beyond happy that someone is finally being held responsible for this senseless act. May Paula rest in peace.

One journey has ended and another begins. We will all struggle in our own way to normalize the unimaginable and, once again, begin the healing process. We will always be thankful for having had Paula in our lives, even if her time was too brief.

Lana and Lyne,
I hope you and your family can now begin to heal. It's your family's love and the love of the many friends that Paula had that helped the truth get out. Rest now, and continue to live with many fond memories of a better time.
Luv, Barb

Congratulations to Paula's family for keeping her in our minds and hearts. I hope, should anything like this ever happen to me, that my family would be as relentless in pursuit of truth and justice. Well done!
I've been admiring Paula's artwork and would love to own a print of the vase and flowers. Should prints ever come available, plese let me know.

To Paula's Family, do you know how much you inspire people? You have taught this whole country what it means to complete a committed journey and stay true to your word. When you said that you would finish the course set before you....you didn't falter. Tears in your eyes, exhausted and with broken hearts you continued on with heads held high to honor your parents and sister. What a shining example for your children, friends and community. God Bless you with peace. Love: The Christies

I use to work with Jason at NSPI and I remember when he came to work on the Monday morning after meeting Paula for the first time. He was smitten with her from the beginning and I was so thrilled to hear they had gotten married and had a daughter. I was beyond shocked when I heard what happened 5 years ago and more so to hear Jason was a suspect. I had never met Paula but there is a sparkle in her eyes that has kept me following this tragedy for the last 5 years. My thoughts as always are with poor little Anna who lost a beautiful mother and the opportunity to know her and create memories. Also-my heart goes out to Paula's sisters and family who had to endure this pain for far too long. Lastly, my thoughts are with Jason-who now spends the rest of his life knowing his daughter now understands exactly who he is and what he taken from her. he determined his own fate when he robbed Paula of her life that day.

We never knew Paula but we will never forget her. Her death was so tragic that it brings tears to our eyes reading about it. But there is such a strong underlying message of love, hope and determination. A sister's love is like no other. Lana and Lynn you are both amazing sisters. I hope you will have peace in your hearts as you go forward and fill little Anna with all the wonderful stories of her beautiful Mother. God Bless you all!

I never knew Paula, her family or her friends, but have felt great sadness for her family since her untimely death, now today I am glad that the guilty is behind bars, but still shocked at the sickness of some people. Paula's poor daughter will never get to know her mother and has a very disturbed father.
My thoughts and prayers go out to little Anna, Paula's family, friends and students.
May you find strength in the fact that he is finally behind bars serving time for the horrible act he committed.
